Great ways to save at the grocery store!

Today was grocery day for me. Here are some ways I save money at the grocery store:

1. Use a list, and stick to it! You would be surprised how much money you spend on impulse items.
2. If a non-perishable item that you use alot is on sale, stock up on it.
3. Double check prices, sometimes it is cheaper to buy two small sizes rather than one big one!
4. Do you buy alot of soda's? Buy 2 liters instead of cans, you get alot more for your money.
5. Do you really need five different cleaning products? Buy just one all purpose cleaner, or better yet make your own.
6. Make your own baby food. Almost any baby friendly food can be tossed in the blender or food processor and make yummy food for your little one.
7. Find the mark down area in your store. Almost every store has one, usually in the back. I find great deals there, usually because the package is slightly damaged.
8. Go to the dollar store! You can find great deals on canned and boxed goods, household items, and a whole lot of things. :)

We had BBQ Chicken casserole for dinner today, here's the recipe:

1 cn Pork and beans (16oz)
4 chicken pieces
1/4 c ketchup
2 tb Peach preserves
2 ts Onion,minced
1/4 ts Soy sauce
1/4 c Brown sugar
Place beans in a 2-quart casserole; top with chicken. Mix together remaining
ingredients; pour over chicken and beans.
Cover and bake at 325 for 1 3/4 hours.

I keep seeing these commercials for glowing body wash and glowing face wash. Here is a mask that will have your face glowing for a fraction of the cost!
1 egg yolk
1 tsp warm milk
1 tsp honey
Mix it all together, apply to face and neck. After 20 minutes rinse off.

For those of you interested in making extra money, here is the GPT I did today:

See you soon!
